This popular Surry Hills Hotel dating back to the early 1900's has become an iconic landmark in Sydney.

Built and established as a licensed premises in 1912 as the Cleveland Inn, this heritage listed hotel is featured in the Powerhouse Museum.

A major restoration in 1995 prompted a name change and Bar Cleveland was born, evolving into one of Sydney's most popular inner city pubs.

The rebirth paid off with Bar Cleveland being judged by the AHA as:

  • Best Bar Presentation and Service

  • Best Redeveloped Hotel

  • Best Training

With these accolades under the belt, Bar Cleveland continues to enhance its unique atmosphere with further renovations in 2008.
